A large-scale and long running change of use project involving a former malt-roasting house in a conservation area which had fallen into dereliction after use as an office/workshops and the client is now converting to a family home. This project involved taking a previous outline planning consent through a revised planning scheme to improve the design, adding a mezzanine bedroom level and freeing up basement space for a games room and utility spaces. The finished building will have a double height galleried living space, snug/TV room, separate kitchen and entertaining area and master suite as well as additional bedrooms.
